Egyptian Premier League Mortada Mansour breaks silence over Pitso Mosimane to Zamalek rumors

Zamalek president Mortada Mansour has denied rumors linking Pitso Mosimane to a move to the White Knights as he rassures that Juan Carlos Osorio in his position.

Mansour who has been displaced from his president position by the Court of administrative justice continues to rule the club behind the scenes.

Recently, Colombian manager Juan Carlos Osorio was said to be leaving Zamalek amid the club’s poor results as they can end this season without qualifying for the next CAF Champions league campaign.

Rumors then claimed Pitso Mosimane will make a shock return to Egypt to coach the Al Ahly rival alongside Hossam Hassan.

However, Mortada Mansour said Osorio will remain in his position as Zamalek coach.

“Juan Carlos Osorio will remain in his position”, he said, as per KingFut.

“There is no truth to the rumors about the negotiations with Hossam Hassan or Pitso Mosimane.

“The technical committee does not have the right to speak with anyone without referring to the board of directors.”
