FIFA World Cup FIFA U20 World Cup: Flying Eagles Finally Arrives San Juan After Delay

Nigeria Flying Eagles players have finally arrived at San Juan, venue for their FIFA U20 World Cup round of 16 game against Argentina.

The Nigeria contingents were flight from Bueno Aires was delayed by the organizer which kept the team worried.

The Nigeria Football Federation confirmed the arrival of the team San Juan ahead of Wednesday game against Argentina.

The statement reads;

“Players and officials of the Flying Eagles have finally settled in at San Juan, venue of the RD 16 game with Argentina.

“The team was to depart Buenos Aires for San Juan by 9am Monday morning but the flight was delayed until 6pm.

“No explanation was given for the delay.”

The Flying Eagles qualified to the round of 16 as best loser after they finished third behind Brazil and Italy in Group D.

Ladan Bosso and his players will be hoping to stun the host to pick the semi finals ticket.
