Nigeria Premier League Super Six Playoffs: Insurance Maintains Unbeaten Streak

After being held to a 0-0 tie by Lobi Stars on Saturday in the Nigeria Premier League Super Six Playoffs, Bendel Insurance increased their unbeaten streak to 19 games.

Both teams had enough opportunities to win the game, but their subpar finishing cost them.

In the wake of the deadlock at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Onikan, Lagos, Insurance established a new record for the longest unbeaten streak in the Nigerian top division.

On the opening day of the Nigeria Premier League Super Six playoffs, only one game without a goal was played.

In the opening match of the day, Enyimba and Remo Stars fought valiantly to a 2-2 draw.

On Tuesday, insurance will play the Sunshine Stars.

On the same day, eight-time champions Enyimba will play Lobi Stars.
