AFCON AFCON2023Q: Mozambique Call Up Edmilson For Rwanda Clash

In an effort to increase their prospects of qualifying for the Africa Cup of Nations finals in Ivory Coast in January, Mozambique has chosen defender Edmilson of the Kaizer Chiefs and veteran Dominguez of Royal AM to their team to face Rwanda on Sunday.

As they compete for the final qualifying spot in the pool, Mozambique leads Benin and Rwanda by a slim margin with four points in Group L.

Senegal has already locked up first position and a spot in the finals, where they will be defending their title after defeating Mozambique home and away in the most recent round of qualifiers in March.
