The Super Eagles and Villarreal winger Samuel Chukwueze is being pursued by Italian Serie A powerhouse AC Milan, who are making significant headway in their negotiations.

After the deal to bring Noah Okafor to Milan was finalised, Calciomercato.com reports that Chukwueze is now expected to complete the race as well following a new round of negotiations between the management and their Villarreal counterparts today.

In fact, a deal has been made with a five-year contract ready for the player, with a fixed fee of €25 million plus bonuses for a total of €28 million.

The weekend is likely to see the completion of the only remaining minor elements.

It will be time to prepare and finish the final paperwork for the transfer of Chukwueze from Salzburg after the final paperwork for Okafor has been arranged and completed.
