Basketball FIBA Women Afrobasketball : D’Tigress Beat Egypt In Second Group Game

With another victory over Egypt in the ongoing 2023 FIBA Women Afrobasketball Championship in Kigali, Rwanda, the defending champions, Nigeria’s D’Tigress, kept up their excellent play.

In order to warn off any possible competitors in the championship, the Nigerian team thrashed DR Congo on Friday.

Egypt’s victory over DR Congo on Saturday set up a fierce contest with the Nigerian team.

D’Tigress dominated the first quarter, winning 18-10, and carried that dominance into the second half, winning 23-42.

Nigeria dominated to take the set 56-42, and the score remained the same moving into the third quarter.

With a decisive 83-65 victory in the fourth quarter, D’Tigress declared the game won.
