Ligue 1 Enrique Delighted To See Mbappe Back To PSG Squad

Luis Enrique, the head coach of Paris Saint-Germain, declared on Friday that he was thrilled to have Kylian Mbappe back in his lineup following the France star’s most recent transfer scandal.

Following a contract issue, Mbappe was reinstituted to the PSG first team earlier this week.

The 24-year-old missed the 0-0 draw between the defending champions and Lorient in their Ligue 1 debut at Parc des Princes last Saturday.

He will, however, return for Saturday’s game against French Cup champion Toulouse, as PSG looks for its first victory and goal under former Barcelona and Spain manager Luis Enrique.

Obviously it’s good news, for what he brings football-wise but also in terms of his personality,” Luis Enrique told a pre-match press conference.

“He is perfect from a training point of view… From what I’ve seen so far, he has a lot of desire, he has arrived in a good state of mind.”

After signing from Barcelona, the Spanish coach added that Ousmane Dembele was “ready to play from the first minute.”

Following Neymar’s relocation to Saudi Arabia, the French winger has assumed the number 10 jersey that was formerly worn by the Brazilian.
