Nigeria Super Falcons Move Up To Eight In FIFA Latest Ranking

FIFA has now unveiled a brand-new world ranking following the end of the international championship, with the Super Falcons among the greatest movers.

Nigeria rose eight positions to take the 32nd spot in the world rankings, making them the best team in the continent.

The top five nations include Cameroon, Morocco, Ghana, and South Africa, which are ranked second and 45th respectively.

Nigeria’s standing in the FIFAWWC is also supported by the rating.

The Falcons were ranked as the 10th best squad by FIFA, which also classified the top 10 nations at the championship in New Zealand and Australia.

The FIFA website has updated the Super Falcons’ position in the world rankings, which were made public.

The ninth FIFAWWC, which just ended, saw some of Africa’s best performances, including Nigeria.

Three African nations reached the knockout stage for the first time thanks to the Falcons, South Africa, Morocco, and Morocco.

The Super Falcons of Nigeria successfully negotiated a challenging group that comprised the co-hosts Australia and Olympic Canada.

Despite distractions prior to the competition, the multiple-champion African team finished second to Australia without dropping a single match.

Before European winners England destroyed their World Cup dream on penalties, Nigeria advanced to the round of 16 in the tournament.
