In a recent interview, Sports CS Ababu Namwamba warned AFC Leopards and rivals Gor Mahia to keep off signing foreign players and coaches in response to the transfer bans imposed on the teams by the world governing body FIFA and CAF owing to monies owed to their previous foreigners.

Meanwhile, speaking after signing a two-year contract, Miheso, who has also played for K’Ogalo in the top-flight, said: “I feel fantastic to be in this great team, with amazing players, coaches, staff and fans, my target at AFC Leopards is to make the AFC family happy,” while custodian Katasi, who managed 17 clean sheets in the league last season and is an alumnus of St. Anthony, Kitale, said: “I feel fantastic to be in this great team, with amazing players, coaches, staff and fans.
