The newly promoted Nigeria Premier Football League NPFL team Heartland FC has announced the signing of Ezekiel Bassey ahead of the commencement of the 2023/2024 Nigeria Premier Football League season.

The Imo state-based team returned to the top level last season after spending a season in the lower division thanks to their outstanding performance in the Super Six.

The team has officially announced Ezekiel Bassey’s entrance in order to have a successful campaign in the upcoming premier league season.

After a brief experience with the B side of Spanish and Catalan giants FC Barcelona, the former Enyimba International midfielder returned to Nigeria a few seasons ago.

Bassey has played not only in Spain but also in Egypt with Al Masry and, after returning to Nigeria, for Akwa United.
