FIFA has just released the nominees for its’ Awards for the Best player, goalkeeper and coach of the year with Cameroon goalkeeper Andre Onana being among them.
The 27-year old who made 7 saves against Burundi few days ago after coming out of retirement to help Indomitable Lions qualify for the next AFCON in Cote d’Ivoir had an excellent season with Inter Milan in 2022/23.
Onana was arguably the best goalkeeper in the Champions league but the Nerazzurri unfortunately bowed to Man City in final 0-1.
The votes are opened from now until October 6.
