CAF Champions League CAFCL: Simba SC going for win vs Power Dynamos – Oliveira

Tanzania giants Simba SC coach Roberto Oliveira Goncalves do Carmo alias Robertinho believes his side will emerge victorious against Power Dynamos during their CAF Champions League, second round, first leg match at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola on Saturday.

Robertinho said at a pre-match press conference that Dynamos have shown potential with talented players but Simba had enough verve to pick a win in the two-legged tie.

“We respect our opponents because they are a big club, big team and was the best in the country (Zambia) but listen, Simba SC respects every opponent but Simba last season performed better (in the Champions League) and it will be a good game tomorrow [Saturday],” said Robertinho, adding: “We are here for a win and three points. I believe in our capacity. If my players have talent, I need them to use the talent inside the pitch. Our opponents have two or three dangerous players, we need to pay attention to them, but we have our stars on the pitch and I believe in the capacity of players.”

The Brazilian was also looking forward to playing in front of a huge crowd at Levy. “Football for me is emotional, I like the match to be played in a full stadium [because a big crowd is nice]. Simba Day had a very good crowd,” Robertinho said,” adding: “Football is art, it’s not fighting. Not long passes, if I have talent, I can use my talent, it’s my objective. Simba likes to stay with the ball because there is no risk. It’s our objective to play well and win.”
