Turkish wonderkid Arda Güler has picked up a new injury in training session, Real Madrid announced on Tuesday afternoon.

The 18-year returned to training with Real Madrid last week after spending three months on the sidelines due to a knee injury picked up in June.

Carlo Ancelotti even announced that he will make the squad for Las Palmas game on Wednesday.

“Vini Jr., Arda Guler, Dani Carvajal are available and fit”, the Italian said in his pre-match press conference.

“Could Arda Güler play tomorrow? He is in good shape, he’s fully recovered, he needs a few minutes to get back into the fold”, he added.

However, Real Madrid’s latest medical report indicates that the former Fenerbahçe midfielder has a new injury and has even underwent a surgery.

“Our player Arda Güler has today undergone arthroscopic surgery on his right knee, performed under the supervision of Real Madrid’s Medical Services. Güler will start his recovery programme in the coming days”, the statement reads.

According to Partidaze Cope, Güler will be out for at least 3 weeks which means he is a doubt for October’s El Clasico.
