Serie A Napoli sack social media executive after Osimhen TikToks

Napoli parted way with Alessio Fortino who mocked Victo Osimhen with two controversial videos on TikTok last week.

In one of the videos, Osimhen was seen begging for a penalty after his miss in the goalless draw against Bologna.

And in the second one he was described as a “coconut” and “not a man”.

The video stirred controversy on social media with the Nigerian forward’s agent Roberto Calenda announcing a possible “legal action”.

So far, Naples reacted but without apologizing to Osimhen while fans continuously were asking for the videos author’s sacking.

It is now done as Alessio Fortino confirmed his departure from the defending Serie A champions.

“Today, after 805 days, my professional adventure with SSC Napoli comes to an end. For many, this job would be a dream, for me, it was a daily reality. A reality built on commitment and fueled by the continuous desire to learn”, he wrote, as per Calcio Mercato.

“I cannot help but express my profound gratitude to all my colleagues, collaborators, partners and the fans I met during this long journey for making this experience so special. I leave the company with a wealth of extraordinary memories and the enthusiasm for the new adventures that await me. Thanks again for everything and see you soon! Alessio.”
