CR Belouizdad coach Marcos Paqueta believes his side have what it takes to make it two wins out of two when they face Medeama in Friday’s CAF Champions League clash away.
The Algerian side kicked off their campaign with a 3-0 victory against Young Africans (Yanga SC) and they will head to face the Ghanaian league champions in Kumasi. “We have reviewed Medeama’s weaknesses and worked on taking advantage while keeping our same style home and away,” noted Paqueta as quoted by CAFOnline, adding: “We don’t care about our opponents. We’ll approach the game with the intention of winning.”

Speaking at the same function, Belouizdad striker Lamin Jallow demanded collective sacrifice to secure a vital positive result in unfamiliar surroundings. Despite scoring against Yanga in their Group opener, Jallow stressed only the team’s objective matters now.
“We have to sacrifice to return to Algeria with a positive result,” he said, adding: “We have an excellent coach and players with Champions League experience. But we must stay unified.”
