Premier League WATCH: Rice scores late as Arsenal edge seven-goal thriller

Declan Rice managed to come up with a last-second winner to clinch a 4-3 win for Arsenal against Luton Town in a classic Premier League encounter at Kenilworth Road on Tuesday night.

The Gunners’ first game against the Hatters since 1991 was one to remember, and early goals from Gabriel Martinelli and Gabriel Osho looked like sending the sides in level at the break but Gabriel Jesus headed Arsenal back in front before the interval.

Within 10 minutes of the restart, strikes from Elijah Adebayo and Ross Barkley put the hosts in front, but Arsenal were behind just three minutes later as Kai Havertz managed to pull them level again just before the hour mark. As the game ticked past the six allotted minutes of injury-time, it looked as though Arsenal would be forced to settle for a point but once again Arsenal managed to strike late through Rice’s glancing header to snatch all three points.

Arsenal will return to Premier League action when they take on Aston Villa at Villa Park on Saturday before they wrap up their Champions League group stage with a trip to PSV Eindhoven on Tuesday, December 12.
