The reason Kwara United could not score against Doma United on Wednesday in Ilorin has been disclosed by their coach, Kabiru Dogo.

In a league match on Matchday 12, the Savannah Tigers held the Afonja Warriors to a scoreless draw.

Dogo said that the reason Doma lost was because of the away team’s unfavourable strategy and the strong play of their custodian, Osayi Kingdom.

“We approached the game with much enthusiasm but that wasn’t enough to break down the time-wasting Savannah Scorpions who have goalkeeper Kingdom Osayi to thank.

“The referee, I think was too lenient with them despite wasting much time.

” In 1st half, we played less than 30′ as their players were falling all around the field. Its negative football.

“We will continue to work hard to achieve the set objectives for the season”, he said.
