UEFA EUROPA LEAGUE UEL: Chukwueze’s AC Milan To Face Stade Rennes

Samuel Chukwueze’s AC Milan has been paired against Stade Rennes of France in the Europa League knockout round playoffs for a place in the round of 16.

Another Serie A club, AS Roma will lock horns against Feyenoord in a repeat of their previous meeting.

Roma triumphed over Feyenoord in the Europa Conference League final of 2021–22. The teams also faced off in the Europa League quarterfinals of the previous season, with Roma winning 4–2 on aggregate.

Jose Mourinho’s Roma advanced to the competition’s championship game last season, but they were defeated by Sevilla on penalties. Meanwhile, Feyenoord won the Europa League in 2002 after defeating Borussia Dortmund in the championship game.

Eight teams from the Europa League’s second group will play eight teams from the Champions League’s third group, with the winners of the two-leg playoffs moving on to the round of 16.

The return matches of the tie will take place on February 22, one week after the first legs of the tie begin on February 15.
