The Africa Cup of Nations Group D game between Cameroon and Gambia will take place at the Stade Bouake on Tuesday.

The Scorpions, who are already in danger of losing the 2023 AFCON, will try to play spoiler against the Indomitable Lions, who still have a chance to win.

Gambia’s chances of qualifying for AFCON 2023 seem dim following a second straight loss, this time by a score of 1-0 against the National Elephants of Guinea in Group F.

Cameroon drew 1-1 with Guinea to start their AFCON campaign, but now their chances of qualifying for the round of 16 are in jeopardy after suffering a 3-1 loss against Senegal on matchday two.

Cameroon must wait for Senegal to defeat Guinea in order to have the chance to automatically qualify, though a victory does not ensure that. However, if they don’t come second, this might improve their chances of qualifying for the knockout stage as one of the top third-place teams.
