The Egyptian Football Federation has been asked to pay the termination money that Pharaohs of Egypt coach Rui Victoria has demanded.
Since the seven-time champions were eliminated from the African Cup of Nations, the Portuguese coach has come under intense criticism.
The highest-paid coach sought payment of his termination fee if they intended to fire him when he was called to the Federation headquarters on Monday.
“I’ll leave if you pay me my termination fee”, he said.
Victoria, along with Algerian coach Djamel Belmadi, is the highest paid coach in Africa, earning $200,000 a month.
Victoria will be charged a termination fee of $750,000.
