Nigeria Warri Wolves Drop 11 Players,Retain 19 Ahead Of Second Stanza

Ahead of the commencement of the second stanza of the NIgeria National League, NNL, Management of Warri Wolves FC has announced the opening of its camp for Sunday February 11th 2024.

According to a Press Release from the club’s media Officer Oris Lilian, the Warri Wolves FC Management also in a letter signed by the club’s secretary, Ukah Chukwuma announced that it has dropped eleven players and retained Nineteen as a new Technical Adviser is expected to resume alongside some other new players.

The management stressed that the shake up became imperative considering the poor performance of the team in the first stanza which left the Seasiders in 10th Position with 11 points from 10 matches.

It added that training commences on Monday February 12th under the new Technical Adviser and at such, all retained and new players are expected to be on ground as failure to resume as stipulated will attract disciplinary action.

It says the retained 19 players are Joke Elvis,
Shedrack Okere, Ekene Joseph, Ingo Festus, Ofem Emmanuel,
Sodiq Okunlola, Bakare Emmanuel, Faruk Imade,
Adebayo Emmanuel, and Wohuruche Victor.

Others it added are Osigwe Ekene, Akaba Tega, Anugbuo Loveday, Adigwe Victor, Onochie Bright, Amatesiro Shemaye, Iliya Manasseh,
Saheed Olaniyi and Cletus Alex.

The management further wished the 11 dropped players the best in their future endeavours adding that they will be reached as soon as possible as the club is making all necessary arrangements to get funds to settle all outstandings due to everyone.
