All African Games All African Games: Danjuma Releases Final Squad List

Goalie Anderline Mgbechi, captain and defender Oluchi Ohaegbulem, midfielder Adoo Yina and striker Chiamaka Okwuchukwu made Falconets squad for this month All African Games in Ghana.

Coach Chris Danjuma announced his 20 players to represent Nigeria in the women’s football competition of the 13th African Games.

Goalie Faith Omilana, defenders Shukurat Oladipo and Jumoke Alani, midfielders Olushola Shobowale and Chioma Olise, and forwards Blessing Okpe and Judith Okah are all mentioned.

Ghana, the hosts, will face Ethiopia, Tanzania, and Uganda in Group A, while Nigeria, the defending champions, are placed in Group B with Morocco, Senegal, and Cameroon. At the Cape Coast Stadium, games will be played.

In October 2019, the Falconets emerged victorious in the women’s football competition of the 12th African Games, which was held in Rabat, Morocco.
