Tanzania Premier League outfit Simba SC coach Abdelhak Benchikha has left the country for Algeria to undergo a five-day coaching course.
This was confirmed by the club’s Media and Communication Manager Ahmed Ally. He added that while in Algeria, Benchikha will miss two Premier League matches for Simba against Coastal Union (March 9) and Singida Fountain Gate on (March 12).
Also, Ally said in his absentia, the team will be under his assistant coaches Farid Zemiti and Selemani Matola. “We expect him to be in full charge of the team during our game against Mashujaa on March 15,” said Ally.
Simba, who lost 2-1 to Tanzania Prisons at Jamhuri Stadium in Morogoro on Wednesday, remain third on the table with 36 points from 16 games.
