Nigeria NFF President Visits Injured Simon In France

Moses Simon was visited by Ibrahim Gusau, President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), last weekend in France.

Following surgery last month, Simon is still recovering from his injuries.

The 28-year-old was hurt while Nigeria played the Eagles of Mali in an international friendly.

In the thirty-third minute of the match, the winger collided with the Malian custodian, breaking his fibula.

Simon, who has been out for the season, is anticipated to miss three months or more.

Nigeria’s June 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying matches against South Africa and the Benin Republic are anticipated to be missed by the former KAA Gent star.
