The Super Falcons, Nigeria’s women’s national football team, have maintained their status as Africa’s top side in the current FIFA Women’s World rankings, which were revealed on Friday, June 14th.
The Super Falcons are ranked 36th in the globe, 15 places higher than their nearest competitor on the continent, South Africa, which is placed 51st.
This rating update took into account almost 150 international matches played in the last three months, with current World Champions Spain at the top of the rankings.

The Super Falcons remains Africa’s top women’s football team. They are ranked first in Africa (36 in the globe), followed by South Africa (51 in the world) and Morocco (56 globally).
