Nigeria Enoh Congratulates Super Falcons For Picking Olympic Ticket

Senator John Owan Enoh, the honourable minister of sports development, has praised Nigeria’s Super Falcons for their two-leg victory over South Africa, which qualified them for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.

The Minister praised the squad for their audacious, spirited, and unceasing effort, which saw them secure a goalless draw in Pretoria and a 1-0 victory over two legs after last week’s victory in Abuja.

Nigeria secured qualification against their rivals, ending a 16-year curse that had prevented them from competing in the Olympics since 2008.

Enoh was ecstatic about the Super Falcons’ accomplishment and said that their effort was deserving of a trip to Paris.

Today, we salute the Super Falcons for their extraordinary display of tenacity and doggedness, breaking barriers and reclaiming Nigeria’s spot on the Olympic stage.

“Their victory is not just a triumph for Nigerian football, but a testament to the power of dedication and teamwork.

“As we look forward to Paris 2024, let us rally behind our champions and support them as they strive for greatness.”

He congratulated the players, coaches, and Nigerian people in general, saying that it was a victory for the nation.

All hands must be on deck, he continued, as they get ready to proudly and resolutely represent Nigeria at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.
