Kayserispor defender Joseph Attamah becomes on Tuesday night, the seventh Black Star to test positive for coronavirus after Mali and Qatar friendlies.
After Jordan Ayew, Caleb Ekuban, Gideon Mensah, Bernard Mensah and Kasim Nuhu, Joseph Attamah also contracted coronavirus.
“Due to the COVID-19-like complaints of one of our players in the morning hours today, he was isolated from the team and applied a PCR test. Our player’s test was positive and the necessary treatment was started immediately.” a statement revealed by Kayserispor reads.
However, it is reported that Attamah is the one who contracted the virus.
