A new title for Al Ahly. But this, the title is for their basketball team. They have won the National League following their victory over rivals Ittihad of Alexandria.

The Red Devils managed to earn a narrow 68-66 win over Ittihad in the league final on Tuesday.

Ittihad were the dominant side for the majority of the game after coming out on top in the first three quarters.

However, Al Ahly managed to turn the game on in its head with a dramatic comeback in the fourth quarter with a score of 48-45 to secure the title.

Al Ahly have now won the National League title for the sixth time in the club’s history.
