Africa Soccer GUINEA : HOROYA DUO OUT FOR THREE WEEKS

Guinea’s Horoya AC have suffered a blow as their two key players have each been ruled out for three weeks.

Horoya website reports that defender Ibrahima Aminata Conde and Ghanaian winger Enock Agyei suffered different injuries during a CAF Champions League match against Racing Club d’Abidjan last week.

Following the examinations carried out in the trauma service of Ignace Deen Hospital, under the coordination of the principal doctor of Horoya AC, Dr Yamoussa SOUMAH, he was diagnosed with:

“Ibrahima Aminata Condé, a sprained knee. He was immobilized in plaster for 3 weeks.

Enock Atta Agyei, a dislocation of the right shoulder which also required immobilization for 3 weeks,” reads Horoya’s website.

Bolaj Sakini scored the lone goal of the game as Horoya won 1-0 on the day and 2-1 on aggregate over two legs to progress to the group stages.

The duo was substituted in the second-half of the match played at Stade du 28 Septembre in Conakry.

Meanwhile, Horoya have been drawn in Group C of the Champions League alongside Wydad Casablanca (Morocco), Petro Atletico (Angola) and Kaizer Chiefs from South Africa.
