South African football Association (SAFA) will announce the new Bafana Bafana head coach this Wednesday, May 5 at it headquarters (1pm, SA time).
More than a month after the sacking of Molefi Ntseki, South Africans will know the identity of their new head coach this Wednesday.
According to many reports from all over the country, it is former Cameroon head coach who won AFCON 2017 Hugo Broos is the one with whom “SAFA have concluded and finalized all the outstanding matters”.

The 69-year-old himself confirmed talks with the FA and another name different from him will be a surprise.
South Africa are drawn in Group G for the 2022 Qatar World Cup qualifiers, together with Ghana, Ethiopia and Zimbabwe.
Bafana Bafana kick off their World Cup campaign with an away match against Zimbabwe in the first week of June 2021.
