After their 2-1 win over Ethiopia in Addis Ababa, the Super Eagles were saluted by Globacom, the major sponsor of the national team in a statement released by the company.
“Playing under a high altitude, the Super Eagles displayed an unlimited attitude and triumphed over the Walya Antelopes right on their home turf,” the statement said.
“By this victory, the Eagles have again proved that no challenge is too complex for Nigeria to surmount.”
Furthermore, the statement appeals to Stephen Keshi to carry his team to a victory in the second leg in Calabar on November 16 in order for Nigeria to represent Africa in the 2014 world cup.
