Africa Cameroon / Elections to Fecafoot: the sports Minister stops the process

No more elections to Fecafoot (Cameroon Football Federation). At least until further notice.

This what decided on Tuesday Adouma Garoua, Minister of Sports. In a letter to the Fecafoot Mr. Garoua justifies his decision by the non-resolving of certain events in the country.

“I would like to draw your attention to the incidents in your regional and departmental leagues (Douala and Pouma), which associated with the multiple tutelary referrals of state authority, various actors in your sport on the said elections should lead us to reflect together upon a successful outcome of this process, “ can read in the letter.

“This is why I ask you to suspend temporarily the execution of your schedule to allow my Ministry to consult widely for better framing process initiated by the Fecafoot,” says Adoum Garoua.
