The Senegalese “Claire Fontaine” costing 900 million will be inaugurated on Thursday

Located at Toubab Dialaw, thirty kilometers from Dakar, the new football technical development center of Senegal, “Centre Jules François Bocandé” funded through the Goal 2 and 3 Project of the Fifa will be operational for the delight of the fans of football.

For a value of nearly 900 million FCFA, this infrastructure appears to be the new Senegalese “Claire Fontaine” with training grounds and placeholders for national teams wishing to gather up or get ready for some meetings.

Thus Mr. Senghor, the President of the Senegalese football federation will receive the keys from the hands of the representative of the Fifa Sampson Kablan according to whom “this jewel should promote the development of the Senegalese football in all its aspects.”

In the remainder of this infrastructure, the Senegalese Football Federation plans to build a nearby hotel in order to “better use the center” according to Mr. Senghor.

This center will become the place of preparation for all the national teams in the African sub-region.

The construction of this center lasted seven years. It was started in 2006.
