Ossie Schectman, a name that does not say great things a priori. The former New York Knicks basketball player is the first player to score during an NBA game. He remains for this forever in the history of the NBA.

Schectman passed away on Tuesday at the age of 94 years.

He scored the historic basket on November 1, 1946 during a game between the Knicks and the Toronto Huskies.
