Ex-Ghana international and Former Kumasi Asante player Frimpong Manso has admitted that yesterday’s game between Accra Hearts of Oak and champion club Kumasi Asante kotoko is so far the best match he has seen between the two teams. “I didn’t expect the game to be that beautiful because games like this is always tensed-up. We normally don’t see good football when this arch rivals meet but what I saw yesterday proved Ghana indeed is blessed with talents” Frimpong said.
He added that the supporters also played crucial role in making the game that beautiful and urged them to keep supporting their various clubs as this will motivate the players to do more for their various clubs. He said, although Hearts lost by a goal to nil, they played very well and must be motivated to do more for the club. He also thanked the kotoko players for picking the maximum points . “The Kotoko players were much poised to win the game and must be congratulated, they were more experience than the Hearts players and I believe that led their victory” Frimpong Manso said.
A goal by Seidu Bancey separated the two sides as the game ended 0-1 in favour of the Porcupine Warriors.
