Ghana Ghana : 2020-2021 Season should start next October

Football could start rolling in Ghana next October. Negotiations are underway at the level of the Ghanaian Federation (GFA) so that the 2020-2021 season can start in the coming months.

After the cancellation of the 2019-2020 season due to the Coronavirus pandemic, the GFA is already busy about the next fiscal year. Through a press release published on its official website, the authority gave the dates of club registration and player transfers.

The Ghana Football Association (GFA), will open the next football transfer window from Saturday 15 August 2020 and will end on Saturday 31 October 2020 in accordance with the GFA regulations. The registration window will be open to 18 Premier League clubs, 48 One League Division clubs, 16 Women’s Premier League clubs, 72 Women’s One League Division regional clubs, Two League Regional Division clubs, Regional League Clubs of the Third Division as well as Minor Clubs. League clubs (U-13, U-15, U-17)”, it reads.

Probably at the end of this period, the GFA will launch the different championships. At the moment, no official communication has been made in this regard.
