Former Ghana Black Stars goalkeeper William Amamoo has came to the rescue of his ex-teammate Sulley Muntari following World Cup 2014 incident with Kevin-Prince Boateng.

Both Muntari and Boateng has been dropped off Black Stars’ squad during FIFA World Cup 2014 held in Brazil.

However, Muntari was said to be guilty of the quarrel between the two players. Something William Amamoo denied.

“No Ghanaian should ever think that Sulley Muntari is indiscipline player. He is one of the most respectful players. The only problem is when you offend him but when it comes to discipline he is number one”, he said in an interview, per Ghanasoccer.net

“For instance issues with allowances or bonuses, he will not kowtow to those things.

“Just get closer to him and you see a different person. People did not give Sulley the chance to explain himself when the issues.”, he added.
