Taiwo Awoniyi could once again evolve outside Anfield as the Nigerian striker is on the radar of Scottish top-flight side Celtic.

Following the end of his loan at German Bundesliga side Mainz O5, Awoniyi would be on the verge of joining another club on loan.

According to the Daily Star, the 23-year-old will only join Celtic in case the club loose their own striker Odsonne Edouard.

Moreover, Liverpool could pocket £9 million from the deal and Jurgen Klopp would be interested in as he can get much money for the summer target of the Premier League champions.
