England Victor Moses : Nigerian Striker Showing Generosity to Rescue Former Club

Victor Moses does not forget his origins. Coming back to his roots, Nigerian striker just made a big donation to former club to save it from bankruptcy.

Wigan is in serious financial trouble. The English club is on the verge of bankruptcy. Already struggling with its finances, the club has not escaped the ravages of Covid-19.

Threatened of disappearance, Wigan can count on its fans. They have launched an online sos to help the club pay off debts. Victor Moses, who went to Latics between 2012 and 2014, made a donation of 20,000 pounds sterling. Nigerian international expressed himself on Twitter for his noble action.

Wigan Athletic will always have a special place in my heart, I have so many incredible memories from my time there and the people of Wigan and everyone associated with the club have always been so good for me and my family. We must do all we can to protect the future of this great club.”

In addition, more than 662,329 pounds have been collected since the launching of the operation. A gesture by the Nigerian well appreciated by fans.
