Cameroon is facing Mozambique on Thursday for the 2021 AFCON playoffs 3rd gameday. Christian Bassogog has signed his return amidst his Indomitable Lions teammates. 

The attacker expressed his joy of finding back the Cameroonian selection. “I am always very proud to be back home…My absence was due to Covid-19. I have this great desire to become again that Bassogog everyone knows. Especially in this stadium that brings me good luck. I really hope to have a great game.” Said Bassogog.

As a reminder, Cameroon is qualified for the next AFCON as an organizing country. After the first two days, the Mambas of Mozambique record 4 points. And they share the first place with the Indomitable Lions.
