Nigeria Rohr Competence As Super Eagles Technical Adviser Is Questionable

Nigeria Minister of Youths and Sports Development Sunday Dare said the suitability and competence of Super Eagles head coach Gernot Rohr is questionable.
 
Rohr failed to guide the Super Eagles to victory in their last four games and most especially the 4-4 draw against Sierra Leone in the first leg of the AFCON qualifiers.
 
Nigeria could have picked an early ticket ahead of the 2021 AFCON tournament in Cameroon.
 
 But failed to do so having played double -header stalemate with Sierra Leone on Matchday 3 and 4 in Group L.
 
Dare in a tweet on his official Twitter questioned the competence of Rohr and apologised to football lovers in Nigeria.
 
He assured that the needful will be done but didn’t gave an insight to what he meant by the needful will be done.
 
 

The performance of the Super Eagles from their last two matches calls to question the suitability and competences of Technical Adviser, Rohr. Nigerian football deserves better.

The Super Eagles of Nigeria still top Group L with 8 points from four games.
 
Their next qualifier will be March 2021 with an away game against Benin Republic before hosting Lesotho in their final group game.
