Kaizer Chiefs boss Gain Hunt said the club lacks the presence of its fans as Amakhosi are having a poor Dstv Premiership debut with just four points registered out of three league games.
Chiefs have won only one game of their three league actions, drawing one and losing the another. This turbulent could be explained by the lack of supporters to boost the players to give their best on the fields.
“I think it’s more a disadvantage [not having fans in the stadiums]. I think you could see it from last season already, I think they could have helped them get over the line last season certainly,” Hunt said, per KickOff.

“For me, I certainly feel from the players that they do miss the support that they normally have behind them, so ja. I don’t think it’s a two-way thing.
“What the pressure does [from supporters] is to certainly make you more [competitive], I would think it’s far easier. And I think the bigger clubs do suffer with the big support-base in what’s going on. So, ja, for me, it’s certainly a big loss not having the supporters there.” he added.
In addition, Kaizer Chiefs, eleventh on league standings, will challenge Golden Arrows on Saturday on match week 4.
