Mamelodi Sundowns coach Rulani Mokwena warned his players over “confident” AmaZulu team as they take on the Usuthu-based club on Sunday at 1:30pm on matchday 4 of the Dstv Premiership.

Sundowns left left the league with a zin as they beat Cape Town City (2-0) before the international break.

However, their Sunday opponent AmaZulu also won their last Dstv Premiership game over Black Leopards and will be eyeing victory at Loftus Versfeld stadium.

“It has been a good week but a bit of a complicated week, in a sense that we had time on the pitch and time on the pitch is valuable as a football team as you want to work on certain schemes, you want to improve certain aspects of your game and you can only do that when you have time on the pitch.” Mokwena told Masandawana media.

“Amazulu comes to this match with a lot of confidence as they won their last game against Black Leopards.

“They also come to this game with a lot of good feelings in their space as they have recruited well and signed good players. They will come to the game expecting to win and we have to be very humble in our approach.” he added.

In addition, Mamelodi Sundowns are third on league standings with seven points, so a win will see them top the table while AmaZulu sit at the tenth position.
