CAF CAF Confederation Cup Group Stage draws to hold Feb 22

The 2020-21 Total CAF Confederation Cup Group Stage draw will be conducted on Monday 22 February 2021 in Cairo, Egypt.

According to  statement released by CAF on Friday, the draw will be conducted at 13h00 GMT (15h00 Cairo local time) by head of Competitions, Khaled Nassar.

The statement added that due to COVID-19, media will not be able to attend the draws as it will be streamed live on CAF YouTube channel: CAF TV.

The first leg of the additional second preliminary round took place on February 13 and 14. The return leg is scheduled for this weekend.

The aggregate winners from the last leg of preliminaries will qualify for the group stages. 

Apart from title holders RS Berkane (Morocco) who have already qualified for the group stage, there are 15 places to fill to complete the team quota for the four groups of four teams.

  • MD 2 – 17th March
  • MD 3 – 4th April
  • MD 4 – 11th April
  • MD 5 – 21st April
  • MD 6 – 28th April
  • Quaretrfinal – 16th May / 23rd May (2nd leg)
  • Semifinal – 20th June/ 27th June (2nd leg)
  • Final – 10th July
