Arsenal Boss Mikel Arteta issues Thomas Partey injury update ahead of their Europa League last-32 clash to Benfica in Athens on Thursday.

Thomas contracted a hamstring injury a week ago against Aston Villa who beat Arsenal.

So far, the 27-year-old is recovering step by step and seems to be now closer to a return on the pitch as said by his coach Arteta.

“Thomas is very close,” Mikel Arteta told Arsenal digital.

“He’s got a final test today in training. If he’s feeling good, he will be available to play the match”, he added about Thomas Partey.
