African players abroad ZIMBABWE : Former Kaizer Chiefs defender Hadebe moves to MLS club

Zimbabwean versatile defender Teenage Hadebe has reportedly signed for American side Houston Dynamo FC.

The 25-year-old has left Turkish side, Yeni Malatyaspor FC, to sign for the Major League Soccer (MLS) side.  

American online publication www.mlssoccer.com reports that Hadebe’s transfer was subject to him passing a physical.

The Zimbabwean joins Dynamo alongside centre-back Tim Parker who has signed a three-year contract with the American team.

Hadebe spent two years in Turkey where he arrived from South Africa. He played for Kaizer Chiefs until 2019 when he left for Europe.

Dynamo Senior Vice-President and General Manager, Matt Jordan, confirmed the news about the new signings on Tuesday.

Tim has solidified himself within our group from day one, both on and off the field through his performances, strong character and leadership ability,” Jordan said in a club statement.
