Mosimane is set to reap the big rewards of his success should he guide Al Ahly to the continents elite club competition once again at the expense of Kaizer Chiefs.
Pitso Mosimane joined Al Ahly late last year in a move that came as a major shock to many. The Egyptian giants managed to lure him away from Mamelodi Sundowns and it took some impressive numbers to do so!
When Mosimane’s Al Ahly face Kaizer Chiefs on 17 July 2021 in the CAF Champions League final, a massive R7.8 million will be at stake for the former Bafana Bafana mentor alone!
Part of Jingles’ reported contract earns him a $480 000 bonus for clinching the coveted CAF Champions League title. Meaning should his side overcome Kaizer Chiefs later this month, Mosimane will be almost R8 million richer himself. This is on top of his already staggering monthly salary.
According to reports, Pitso Mosimane earns R1.7 million a month at Al Ahly. By the end of his two year contract in Egypt, he’d have earned almost R42 million excluding his healthy bonuses.
