Italy head coach Roberto Mancini has hailed his players for their performance against Belgium to reach the semi final of the Euro 2020.
Nicole Barrella and Lorenzo Insigne scored in the first half to put the Azzurri in front before Romelu Lukaku levelled from the spot before the break.
Both side couldn’t score again in the second half as Italy went on to eliminate one of the favourite side tipped to win the Euro 2020.

Mancini in his post-match conference with euro2o20.com said the victory was a well deserved one for his team.
“We scored two and we could have scored more.
“I think the victory is fully deserved. Spain are next but the more you go forward the most difficult it becomes.
“However, we just want to think about our performance and our victory.”
“I don’t think we suffered too much in any moment of the game.
“To beat a team like Belgium you need a great performance by everybody and this is exactly what happened today.”
