With the majority of football matches being played these days without supporters, Confederation of African Football (CAF) allowed 10,000 fans to attend Ivory Coast vs Cameroon game to be played on September 6.
Most of the 2022 FIFA Qatar World Cup qualifiers in Africa and the remainder of the world will be played with closed doors.
However, some of the federations especially in Africa are pushing to have an exception in for their national team to get the support of fans during their home clashes.

This is the case of Ivorian football federation (FIF) which has been granted by CAF, an authorization to welcome up to 10,000 fans at Ebimpe Stadium on September 6 for Elephants’ second qualifying game.
The news has been confirmed by reliable Cameroonian website CFOOT Cameroon on their Twitter account.
