Egypt EFA Announced New Board Of Directors With Gamal Allam As President

The Egyptian Football Association (EFA) held elections on Wednesday. Gamal Allam and Mohamed Ibrahim were the two candidates in the challenge for the president position. Allam came out winner and has become EFA new president.

Gamal Allam is a former EFA president that took charge from 2012 to 2016. His electoral list consisted of Khaled Al-Darandaly, former treasurer of Al Ahly, as vice president, and Mohamed Helmy Mashhour, Mohamed Abu Al-Wafa, Hazem Imam, Mohamed Barakat, Ihab Al-Komy, Amer Hussein, and Dina Al-Rifai as members.

Mohamed Ibrahim on the other hand is Bulaq al-Dakrour Club president. And his electoral list was Mohamed Hosni as vice president, and Momen Gad, Osama Mahmoud, Mohamed Hassan, Mostafa Mohamed, Hamid Mortada, Islam Abd Rab al-Nabi, and Nevin Gamal as members.

114 clubs participated in the elections, choosing Gamal Allam and his electoral list as the new EFA board of directors.

Allam’s board is the first elected EFA board to take charge since the resignation of Hany Abou-Rida back in 2019.
